Patient Care

The delivery of whole-person care and service that is anchored in clinical quality, is timely, and is based on the unique goals and needs of each patient and their caregivers’ providing patients with acceptance, sensitivity, and openness while supporting them throughout the course of their serious illness. This includes anticipating the needs of others and taking appropriate and meaningful action to meet those needs.

Community

Motivated by our attachment to where we live and work and by the needs of those around us, we seek to apply our expertise and resources in collaboration with others for the betterment of those living in California especially Mendocino and Lake Counties. This will be accomplished while respecting the rights, differences, and dignity of all and holding ourselves accountable for both our actions and contributions.

Team

The commitment by each individual member to use their unique knowledge, skills, and experience in service to the whole by working in an interdisciplinary model that is supportive of each individual, achieves trans-disciplinary synergy, and builds/ supports team spirit.

Sustainability

Living within our resources by aligning and integrating people, processes, service, and profits to create growth, value, resilience, and opportunity for our staff, those we serve, and the community.

Fun

We enjoy the work that we do, the people we work with, and the people that we are fortunate to serve. We integrate life and work and know each other in all our dimensions (not just discipline and title, but family, passions, experiences, volunteer activities, etc.,). We find humor amid the challenges, acknowledge our blessings, and celebrate personal and organizational successes.
